Salary Range: $139,500-$161,900/annually 

What you will be doing: 

As an IT Applications and Development Manager, you will lead and mentor a talented team of software engineers. You will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities: 

•    Plan and implement enterprise applications and related integrations 
•    Design, Develop and Architect solutions that deliver value to the organization
•    Manage lifecycle of enterprise applications from selection/development and implementation to maintenance and upgrades. 
•    Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering their professional growth. 
•    Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project scope and objectives. 
•    Automate release pipelines and testing to improve quality of deliverables
•    Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. 
•    Actively manage project timelines and resources
•    Identify and mitigate risks throughout the software development lifecycle. 
•    Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software development

Requirements:

• *B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field. 
• *Project Management Certification is a big plus
• *10+ years of experience in IT and software engineering roles
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role

• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex software projects. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically. 
• Experience implementing and maintaining enterprise applications (ERP, WMS, MES) 
• Experience with ERP integrations (EDI, ECommerce, etc) 
• Experience with .Net C# and other object-oriented programming languages (Java, C++, Python, etc.). 
• Proficiency in DevOps management tools and code repositories (Jira, Azure Dev Ops, GitHub, etc)
• Understanding of web languages and frameworks (JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SASS, BootStrap). 
• Experience with SQL and SQL server (Oracle is a plus). 
• Experience with test and QA automation tools
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS). 
• Knowledge of Cloud ERP systems (Epicor Kinetic) is a huge plus 
• Project Management Certification is a plus
• Manufacturing experience is a plus
